About two seconds prior to snapping this picture, I discovered Karis licking the foot pedal of our trash can.You know, with my first child, I was so diligent in trying to keep the germs at bay. Running can be an adventure. Here are some highlights from my run today:1. While stretching at the beginning of my run, I bend over and find myself nose-to-nose with something glittery. We had our annual Christmas photos taken recently. The taking of stage photos with small children has never been my favorite pastime, and let me tell you, the addition of yet anothe wee one did not make it any easier. It's funny to me, the whitewashed reality of the Christmas photo. a tale of two trips
Mark and I are feeling pretty relieved to be home from our seperate vacations, and together as a family again. happy day
The girls and I had a very mellow Thanksgiving. We had the big day with Mark's family on Tuesday, and we are celebrating with my family when we get to Florida, so we had the whole day to ourselves. It was actually really nice. I had originally planned to run the Turkey Trot 10k in the morning. But it started so early that, between nursing and then getting the girls to my inlaws, I would have needed to wake up at 5am. And seeing as how I'll need to wake up that early tomorrow to catch our flight, . . .
