easter weekend
On Saturday we decided to take the kids to a nearby feed store so they could see some baby chicks and bunnies. kids on race: the CNN study
CNN did a very revealing study on racial bias last year, replicating the doll test from the 1950’s and finding that children of color still maintain negative feelings of self-worth in regards to race. This year, the study focused on race relations between children, particularly comparing the views of young children to the views of teenagers. Being a blogger means I am inundated with emails from PR firms asking me if I will “let my readers know” about some amazing product or another. If hi-res images were a currency, I would be a very rich woman. Most of these emails are addressed to “blogger” and are for products I would never in a million years use, much less recommend.
