I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. Niccole at Cosmeticare in Newport Beach and I wanted to give an update. I'm not in a touch of pain but it is definitely uncomfortable! My two favorite hack so far in my surgery recovery: This triangle pillow for sleeping at an angle A silicone straw for propping my mouth open for breathing when I sleep. . . .
Soothing Tips for Flu Season
This post was sponsored by Lolleez and Tumeez, organic remedies in the form of lollipops. Made by Momeez Choice, and founded by a mom of four, they are a delicious and effective way to make everyone’s sick day a little easier. My kids have finally gone back to school, and while I'm thrilled to have the predictable time to work each day that the school year brings, it also brings cold and flu season. With four active and social kids, we are usually hit with a bug or two every fall. It's nearly . . .
Wednesday’s Child: Austin
Every Wednesday I feature a child recently highlighted by a local Wednesday's Child newscast to share the stories of children from around the country who are waiting for a family. My hope is that this can broaden exposure for the children highlighted, but also serve as a reminder that these children represent thousands of children currently in the foster-care system. But I'm finally going for . . .
Life Lately
A sexy thing happened to me this week. I got a mouth guard to wear at night to keep from grinding my teeth. It now sits on my dresser next to my cracked heel cream, my insomnia tinctures, my asthma inhaler, my white noise machine, and a stack of books about the gender inequality of mental load that is leading to stress and overwhelm for women. Form an orderly queue, boys. 😂 In what may be the weirdest accidental science experience ever, I left a bowl of apple cider vinegar in the backyard . . .

Everything else has taken a back burner to my pregnant napping schedule. Do you thing I will be able to finish the whole . . .
