About a month ago, HP asked if I would like to review their new TouchSmart desktop computer for few weeks. I don’t do many reviews on my site, but I thought this could be a really fun experience for the kids (and it being summer, the idea of something to keep them entertained was appealing). My boys had their first day of skateboarding camp this morning. Last night, a friend lost a long and painful battle with cancer. I’ve known Angela for over ten years. When I first met her, she was a young mom of a brood of boys, and going through treatment for breast cancer with incredible optimism. I was immediately drawn to her personality, a charismatic mix of warmth and strength, of passion and compassion. I remember her beating the cancer. I remember her going on to add another son to their family. I remember her as a mom . . .

Warning: whining about first-world problems to follow. Finding consistent childcare has become increasingly more difficult with four children. It’s not that they are hard kids.
