One bonus is that I caught the sunrise for the first time in a long time. Ornamental helmet culture | On Thursdays I post from the vault. This post is from November 2009
On Thursday's I post from the vault. This post is from November 2009. Karis was fitted for her cranial helmet last week, and it should be arriving next week. In a not-at-all-shocking turn of events, our insurance does not cover said helmet. So, for the price of a boob job, we will be footing the bill to make sure she has a well-rounded cranium. Hopefully this will boost her self-esteem enough to avoid that boob job down the road. Good thing we live in the OC. For now, I'm trying to figure . . .
Wednesday’s Child – Shalynn
Every Wednesday I feature a child recently highlighted by a local Wednesday's Child newscast to share the stories of children from around the country who are waiting for a family. My hope is that this can broaden exposure for the children highlighted, but also serve as a reminder that these children represent thousands of children currently in the foster-care system. Perhaps their stories will inspire you to consider opening your home to a child needing a family. For more information . . .

Life Lately
As it turns out, the "Little Snowie" machine is great for adults, too. Today in "let's throw money at the empty void of boredom that is quarantine" ... we got a snow-cone machine. We've entered the "camping in the backyard" stage of quarantine. A little light post-dinner wrestling. No one can beat Jafta anymore. It's all theater and him being a good sport. He can pick any of us up and sling us around. 😂 Her attire for an afternoon at the beach. #emosnotdead India embroidered . . .
