This past week, the internet has been ablaze upon learning that Mike Pence has some rules around opposite-gender relationships, including a restriction on dining one-on-one with any woman except his wife. While many people find it ludicrous and have taken the opportunity to poke fun, those of us who have spent portions of our lives entrenched in evangelical circles are not really surprised at all. I feel like I've seen the FabFitFun boxes all over social media, but I've never gotten one. Okay people. I need help solving a design dilemma in my new house: overhead lighting. I went big on a couple statement chandeliers .... one over the dining room table (this mid-century guy from West Elm) and two that hang over the kitchen island (these bold chandeliers from CB2). But I have two other spots that require lighting, and whatever I put there needs to hang from a sloped ceiling. What do I do to avoid a maze of pendant lights?
