I am asking for your prayers. My husband and I are devout. We are also very liberal. We moved about six months ago to a more conservative section of a blue state. I will be going on a women's retreat the weekend of May 20 and am dreading the possibility of being ostracised for my activism. Your opening question of pro-life Democrats hit me in the gut. I am a pro-life leader of a rather large Indivisible group. I am trying to find my way in a new town, under a new president, under the lordship of Christ. Pray for me? For discernment? For peace?
As to weather Democrats allow me in, I don't care. Pro-life is bigger than abortion. It is mercy and justice in criminal justice, healthcare, education, housing, etc. Neither party is pro-life.
