Black is beautiful and powerful. We have a long convoluted history together. Our conversations are not easy. We can love without perfect understanding. And we can respect always that black folks are playing the game at a different difficulty level. And Beyonce is smoking hot.

So- either you want us to say nothing or I'm missing something. By the way- the more we make this a thing the more it will continue to BE a thing. I'm proud to be a white woman. She can be proud to be a black woman. Can't that be the end of the story?
(I'd like to get into the fact that some people keep this going with stunts like what Bey did, but that's not going to be received well.)
Ok. I get it. Be proud to be who you are. I'll be proud to be who I am. I won't look down on you for it, if you give me the same respect. At some point we need to End this silliness and BE people.
