Donald Trump told us to “ask the gays” and their answers were amazing

Last week, our vomit-of-the-mouth presidential nominee Donald Trump suggested that he’s a hit with “the gays.”  (Pro-tip: when you want to prove you are an ally to a particular people group, don’t refer to said people group using a determiner. See also: “the blacks” and “the Mexicans.”)

“The LGBT community, the gay community, the lesbian community — they are so much in favor of what I’ve been saying over the last three or four days, Ask the gays what they think and what they do, in, not only Saudi Arabia, but many of these countries, and then you tell me — who’s your friend, Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?”

Well, he asked. And “the gays” answered. And it was hilarious.
