It looks like whoever wrote that used the thesaurus tool to try and sound smart by replacing his words with bigger, fancier words. This attempt to sound smarter backfired. FAIL!

implies that the "love" is in some way thoughtless? it can also be a reference to hyponoetics philosophy of mind?
the play on words love without reason
suggests that you feel love towards someone (presumably your adopted children?) you know or strongly suspect is wrong for you. In this case, reason and emotion are battling each other
the hyponoetics reference is also evident in the dichotomy between rage and edification.

the phrase beyond the pale is being used literally and figuratively (i think). literally it means coloration lack of coloration– a reference to black people. if the term lost is a state of being connected to pale people (or blackness), then the assumption is that your trying to save the black children?
figuratively, a pale, or stake, can be driven into the ground– and by extension a barrier or fence can be made from such a stake. the figurative use of the phrase suggests that you have crossed a boundary, or engaged in an action regarded as outside the limits of acceptable behavior, which is unacceptable and improper. the writer seems to making a judgement of your views on adoption?

I'm kind of in love with that comment, and your readers' response to it. For instance, why assume it was written by a man?
Honestly, I think the whole thing is about your minivan. Edify it rather than rage against it. See it for its purpose and appreciate that it is a crucial component of your life/lifestyle. Lastly, why spend so much energy raging against it when there are so many other, more worthwhile things to be passionate about.
