So . . . let’s say that HYPOTHETICALLY a fellow adoptive mom and I were brainstorming for a little video spinoff of the “S#!t People Say” meme, focused around crazy things people say to transracial families. What are some of the things we should include? Beyond the typical, “How much did he cost” or “Are they all your kids” questions . . . what other funny, clueless, or misguided things do people say to transracial families or interracial couples?
