Jafta’s first year of football he broke his thumb in the second second and was out for the rest of the season. Then his sophomore year season was delayed and delayed. Finally this week, with lots of testing and protocols in place, they had their first of a shortened 5-game season. It was wild to be at a football game again. Exactly a year ago, we went into lockdown. And I know we have a ways to go, but it was nice to get to see him play. Also, weird fact: the game was at the opponent’s high school which was where my boyfriend played football. He cheered for us, though. 😉 #65

Drive-by baby showers … what a time we are living through. But the idea of new babies right now brings me joy. Congrats @raisingself and @wkbroxton. 4 of 4 Howerton kids are ready to babysit once this pandemic is over.
