Heading home after 3 fun days in NYC. I had a big meeting for my book the first day, and then spent the rest of my time apparently eating my way through the city. I got to see some dear local friends and my nephew, and also hang with some other friends who were in town. I toured General Seminary and felt the Lord call me to go back for my DMin but that might have just been my fascination with the Harry-Potter-esque campus talking. Last night I saw one of my favorite shows as a kid, and stayed up way too late catching up with a friend. Coming home exhausted but with a full heart (and belly.)
Everybody needs the kind of friends who will reach right over the table and try the dessert you just ordered, and think nothing of it when you do the same.
Favorites at MoMA. Yes, one is a photo of a salad. But it was a very artistic salad. 🎨
