Last game of the season, hand still in a cast. Freshman year is hard. Made harder when the you have to massively adjust your expectations. Here’s hoping for less broken bones in the years ahead.

We survived our first boy/girl teen party this weekend. At first I was unsure if they would mingle … in true middle school fashion the boys were in the front skating and the girls were in the back playing games. But alas, the pool was the great unifier. And the donut bar is still my favorite birthday hack ever.
