Tomorrow is the big day! I’m finally having a septoplasty to fix my deviated septum, as well as a turbinate reduction to improve my breathing. I’m talking about why I’m doing it, why I chose Dr. Niccole at Cosmeticare, and what items I bought to help with my recovery.
I first heard of Dr. Niccole watching The Real Housewives, when Gretchen had this exact same surgery. I’ve known I needed to have this procedure for years, and her anxiety pretty much matched mine. But I’m finally going for it. After more than a decade of sinus issues, I’m ready to deal with one or two weeks of misery to finally breathe correctly. I’m looking forward to less migraines, less sinus infections, and better sleep. I’m NOT looking forward to the recovery. I know I’m in good hands with Dr. Niccole (he really is one of the best) but I’m still nervous. If you’ve ever had sinus surgery, give me all of your best tips for getting through the first week or two. Am scared.
