With Halloween on the way, I’m curious . . . do you like to be scared?
Generally, I don’t. I hate scary movies. I find myself getting stressed and panicky, and it’s just not enjoyable for me.
But recently I went to Knott’s Scary Farm with some friends, and I have to admit . . . I had a blast. Even though there were scary creatures jumping out at us every couple of minutes.
That chic from Poltergeist? Not into selfies.
Knott’s Scary Farm is an annual Halloween event at Knott’s in which the park is transformed into “160 acres of horror”, via a series of roaming monsters, spooky mazes, and Special Ops: Infected – Patient Zero: laser tag where you will fight off zombies. And you guys . . . IT’S SCARY.
But also really fun.
And speaking of scary . . . roller coasters. Eek. I hate/love them. I rode this one at Knotts and I cannot even explain how terrified I was and also how much I laughed.
And this was the point at which I almost peed on another blogger friend. Sorry Charlie!
I also think there is something weirdly bonding about being scared with a group of friends. I feel like Scary Farm might become a yearly tradition.
