I moved India into UCLA today. For the next 3 weeks she will be part of their filmmaking program. She was selected along with 24 other students from around the world to have a crash course in screenwriting, editing, directing, and cinematography. Dropping her off at a dorm felt like a crash course in leaving her at college and if the mess of tears was any preview for the real thing, I am going to very much be a woman who is Not Okay. Still, so excited for this opportunity for her, and crazy proud of her following her passions.

We are in the Dominican Republic this week, committed to a family goal of drinking out of a pineapple every day. If you dream it you can achieve it. (Also, if anyone knows the Punta Cana area, where can we go salsa dancing as a family? Lots of clubs here but most are 18+.)
