Absolutely slaying the contour game. #jumpscare
Some of my best culinary experiences have been sitting at a meal made by my friend @jenhatmaker. It’s an embarrassment of riches to be a beneficiary of her warmth, friendship, fierce loyalty and humor AND get to eat the food she makes. She sincerely loves to cook, and the results are amazingly delicious, but I also find her enthusiasm for feeding her people well to be totally contagious. I always leave her house inspired to up my game in the kitchen (the pickled onions that always sit in my fridge are a direct result of me learning to make them at her house.) Jen has written an incredibly approachable cookbook that brings this inspiration to everyone. And it’s chock full of her humor and storytelling, and photos! So many great photos. (I have a bias of only liking cookbooks that have photos of every meal and this one does not disappoint.) This brilliant book launched into the world this week and I was so excited to get my hands on it. You should get yours on it, too. #feedthesepeople
