These goofballs heard it was “BYO slurpee cup day” at 7/11 and scoured my house to find the biggest containers. Props to India’s friend who filled an actual pitcher.

My kids go to a middle/high school combo, which is pretty intimidating for your first day of middle school. But I remember at orientation the kids being instructed to “look for the helpers in stripes.” The ASB kids stood in the halls in striped rugbies to help new kids find classrooms or to answer questions. It’s fun to watch Kembe and India be the “helpers in stripes” now.
