ON THURSDAY’S I POST FROM THE VAULT. THIS POST IS FROM OCTOBER 2011.
I had my blog re-designed about a year ago, and I added an FAQ page to the menu bar. I’m not really sure what I had planned for this page, I guess it just seemed like a good idea at the time. If you click on it, you can see that I’ve really done a lot with it. Ahem. Anyways, I need to pull it together and create something a little more interesting. Except that I don’t really have any frequently asked questions. Well, that’s not true. There were a startling number of people who left a comment on my post about the chocolate industry asking me why I only care about African children and not the children in America. (They were deleted by me, because I am the boss of here). If you are one of those people, I will respectfully point out that I am a huge advocate for kids in the US fostercare system. I will also respectfully point out that you might be an awful person. Because if you read a post about children slavery and feel outrage at the lack of focus on American children, as opposed to . . . I don’t know, maybe THE CHILD SLAVERY PART? It might be time to examine your racism/ethnocentrism/idiocy. In case this concept is difficult to grasp, I’ve made a simple pie graph for you:Alright, I feel better having gotten that off my chest. For my saner readers . . . hit me with your burning questions in the comment section, and I will do my best to answer them on the FAQ page.
