Strategy sesh for our upcoming trip to Spain/Italy/France. Tried introducing them to a few choice European tapas. They were not a fan. But we did nail down the art galleries we want to see. My boys share my passion for trying regional foods. My girls share my passion for museums and theater. I’ll take it!

There comes a time in every parent’s life when your teenager will rebel in ways that are mortifying, and outside of the values you raised them with. Where the choices they make will embarrass, confuse, and confound you. Today is that day for me.
Forever overestimating what “future me” will have the capacity for.
In my defense, Los Angeles is far.
