I’ve been getting Decocrated boxes for over a year now. If you aren’t familiar, Decocrated is a subscription box company that sends seasonal decor to your home. It’s so ideal for someone like myself who wants to decorate for the seasons but gets overwhelmed with where to start. Prior to subscribing, I felt like I could only manage Christmas. But Decocrated has upped my game, and I just got the fall box and set things out, along with some of my own pieces as well as pieces I got from last year’s fall box.
One thing I really appreciate about Decocrated is that their pieces build on each other. They send ideas for how to refresh and style things that they’ve sent in previous boxes. A Halloween sign might flip over and transition to a Fall sign. They may send holiday pieces that they show you how to pair with a tray they sent in the summer boxes. It’s really versatile and creative, and I appreciate the inspiration. Their boxes always include a few items that are specific to the season, and a few that can be used year-round.
Each box comes with 6-8 pieces, and they are shipped four times a year. You can subscribe annually, or just get an individual seasonal box. Subscribing also gives you access to their member’s only shop, a curated collection to complement Decocrated décor.
My one issue with Decocrated is that when the box comes, my girls are often arguing over which pieces they get to put in their own rooms. (True story. Both of them have confiscated some really cute pieces from me.) Here’s India’s room, where she absconded with a mirror, a 3-tier tray, a geometric planter and a cute faux succulent from the Decocrated summer box.
I’ve been really pleased with Decocrated, and might I suggest . . . with the holidays coming up, a subscription is a really great gift for family or friends who also like home design. You can subscribe to Decocrated here, and use the code RATM10 for 10% off: And check out the hashtag #idecocrated to see how other people are styling their pieces.
