I’m chatting with Angela Tucker (@angieadoptee) about her experience growing up as a black adoptee with white parents, and the importance of white parents of black children to provide education and mentoring from black adults. We also talk about the disparity of black children in foster care, the distrust of law enforcement and social services, and the nuances of transnationally adopted kids being both immigrants from their home country and Black Americans. She has a ton of wisdom to share. Angela serves as a mentor to black adopted youth.
