And we just keep scrubbing along . . .

January 8, 2017

This post is sponsored by Scrub Me Joe

The day after Christmas, I had the chance to try Scrub Me Joe for the first time. It couldn’t have come at a better time . . . I was feeling tired and sluggish. I had overindulged all week . . . to much wine, too many cookies, and not enough sleep. My skin was a mess and my self-care was low.

Scrub Me Joe on skin conditions like eczema, acne, dry skin, stretch marks and I’ve got three out of four happening on most days, so I was excited to try it. Also, I was intrigued. I mean, I like coffee. But rubbing it all over my body? Not my usual delivery route for java.

I’ve been making a move to more natural skin-care products. I’ve even dipped my toes in the waters of natural deodorant. So I was pleased that the product is all-natural. And opening the lid, I was struck with the amazing smell. Hello, coffee!!

I have to admit, it was a little weird to rub all over my body at first. I had to do a bit of a cognitive override. But the consistency makes for a nice, invigorating massage, and there was something fun about getting that messy in the shower. It felt like a spa day.

But rinsing it off? That’s when you really feel the effects. As I washed the scrub away, I was left with INSANELY smooth skin. It was so soft.

I’ve been using it in every shower since.

If coffee isn’t your thing, they’ve also got some really nice scrubs in other scents, like peppermint and lavender, that also leave your skin silky smooth.

If you want to try it yourself, head on over to Scrub Me Joe ‘s website.
