Last night the kids and I helped serve a thanksgiving meal at a local homeless shelter, alongside volunteers from the OC Islamic Society, the staff of a local bar, and our own church @emmauschurchsa. A fairly disparate crew, that bonded over serving, food, and laughter. It was a reminder that regardless of what our country is going through, our own communities can look very different if we keeping pushing in.
