It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of Target. I buy most of the clothes for my boys from their Shaun White line, and Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini line is my favorite for the girls. Check out these cute new tees for fall! A company called Cinammon Sticks made me these custom-stamped stackable rings with the names of everyone in my family. I love them – I haven’t taken them off since I got them. Earlier this year we were invited to a little meet-and-greet with iCarly star Jennette McCurdy. She was shooting a commercial that is now airing on Nick.com for Birdseye veggies, to try to get kids excited about eating vegetables. Jeanette has a really dry sense of humor in person and she was really sweet with the kids. I’m a fan. Speaking of teenaged celebrities, India and I wree invited to attend a Demi Lovato concert a few weeks ago. I will confess, I wasn’t familiar with her work prior to this beyond the movie Camp Rock. Which I may have watched a few times when it aired on Disney Channel a few years ago.. By myself. With no kids around. DO NOT JUDGE ME. Before the concert I googled the set list for the show and made a playlist for my iphone, so we could learn all the songs. I will also confess that since the concert, we have continued to listen to that playlist. I might have even downloaded the chord charts. What can I say? The girl can sing, and her songs are so catchy. I wrote a while back about trying to teach the girls to ride a bike, and many of you recommended a balance bikes. We’ve been trying out Joovy’s version: the Bicycoo Balance Bike. Karis is loving it. Actually, all of the kids are loving it and they fight over it constantly. Even the boys! They think it looks like a BMX trick bike. The frame is made of aluminum so it is really lightweight, which makes controlling the bike easier for kids. The wheels are also really wide so it’s very easy to balance. Plus, it just looks cool. Especially in a Raggedy Ann costume. Have a great weekend! [disclosure]
