We are still away on our Disney World binge, taking a “Good Big or Go Home” approach to the greater Orlando area. Last night we stayed at the Magic Kingdom until 2am, riding every single ride that these kids were tall enough to go on. Here’s how that ended: I’ve got a camera full of pictures and a head full of stories to share, but we’ve still got two days to go. In the meantime, check out my post over at Grey Likes Baby. I’ve been a long-tme fan of Grey Likes Baby for their inspiring ideas for the “well-styled family", so I sort of love that they let me guest post about how tacky my children like to dress. Here’s a preview:
Before I had kids, I had lofty visions of what my life as a mother would look like. It involved a home straight out of Room and Board, with hip furnishings and organic wooden toys. It involved children whose style was a perfect mix of bohemian chic and urban prepster. There was probably a meadow involved. We were probably eating homemade granola. This vision was so lovely, so pinnable . . . so perfect. AND THEN I HAD CHILDREN.
